If AAP had won good sizable number of seats, Shazia would not have resigned or Gopinath would not have used escape velocity. That's why she waited for the election results. Even now she says that she will return if given a relevant role. It’s all about that.

If you need to change the system, first you need to know how the system works and what part of it doesn't. Then using the parts that work you have to bring about change in the parts that don't. Except for certain lower courts in certain specific states and districts may be, the Judiciary in India is rather robust. For example, Subramanianswamy was able to get ministers arrested and argued the merits of his petition so that the supreme court cancelled 122 telecom licenses. He did that as a normal citizen while working within the system. He did not allege his case. He did not release corrupt list on TV. He did not shoot and scoot. He proved it in court. Sitting on a dharna or going to jail feigning martyrdom wouldn't have gotten him anywhere.

AK is trying to play Gandhigiri from the jail and thinking it will work. Someone needs to remind him that it is not 1947 but 2014. People are not illiterate anymore. They do understand POLITICS. If he has made an allegation against Gadkari then he needs to submit enough documentation to prove it. Can you 'shoot and scoot' like this and get away with it. What kind of an educated illiterate is he?

AAP's strategy is just to stay in the limelight, whatever it takes. Their supporter just don’t keep singing praise that he is confronting corrupt individuals. When everyone is screaming how can  Bunty and Bubly ignore the chance to throw some mud on Modi. Though Baba Ramdev's comment was absurd that Rahul baba visits dalits for picnic and honeymoon, the comment had an intention of making fool of Rahul Gandhi, the comment was not targeted at Dalits but on Rahul Baba, but some opportunist politicians from congress gave Ramdev's comment an anti Dalit color. Likewise Modi is also cashing on the statement by Priyanka Vadra and he is giving her comment a caste based color. So if congress does its ok for Bunty and Bubly and if Modi does the same he is playing caste card. This MSM moronspent more time with his NeMo instead wasting his energy against NaMO...

Well said Jagannathan. Good that somebody is saying this openly now. Rajiv's era was the lost opportunity for India. In fact, his leadership ensured that 1980s was the lost decade for India and we ended up the economic crisis. He was supposed to be youth with varied world exposure. I do not think Mr. Rajiv Gandhi can be labelled a martyr as I do not consider he fought for any cause in the process of which he lost his life. He was contesting in elections and was in the election campaigning. He was assassinated by LTTE for making them surrender their weapons. This is not martyrdom for India. Martyr is one who sacrifices his life for pursuing a strong cause. Mahatma Gandhi worked for Hindu Muslim peace and so is Martyr. 100s of Indian Army men who give their life in the process of protecting the country are martyrs.

The acid response from Priyanka for a more generic statement by Modi shows the true colours. All the facade of nice talking in campaigns disappeared. It could be one of the 3 things. (a) She does not believe in Indian Culture which values such things (b) Maybe his backward / poorer economic origins is not acceptable to her perceived high/ rich class mindset. So the connect/talk about them is all show (c) Message to the party machinery

Priyanka is neither an elected party leader, Corporator, MLC, MLA, MP, or holds any public post of significance her only qualification is her Surname "Gandhi". As far as I am concerned based on her qualification she is not even good enough to comment on a MLC or MLA let alone some senior leader from opposition.
