WTC20-Pakistan Stumped

Carnival is the largest and most popular celebration held in the Caribbean. Many consider the Carnival celebrations held in the Port of Spain, Trinidad to be the largest and most elaborate throughout the region. Carnival celebrations in Trinidad are held the two days prior to Ash Wednesday.  The festival is also where calypso music has its roots, through the chantwells who sang songs called Kaiso. The men in Red  were celebrating their Carnival on Tuesday.
The men in Red from Caribbean are blessed with abundance of telent required for this format of the game. A team with a big man like Chris Gayle as opener and a pack Dynamos for end game (Darren Sammy+Dwayne Bravo) plus a “mystery bowler” Sunil Philip Narine.
On the other side, a mercurial Pakistan Team, however have been one of the most consistent sides in this World T20. The sub-continental giant have stronger as they played every game after their defeat to India. Like the Sri Lanka vs New Zealand match yesterday, the winner qualifies to the semi-finals and the loser exits the tournament.
Opting to bat First, West Indies started the match only after 15 overs. Pakistan having their match in pocket till that time. The Dynamo paid Sammy and Bravo gave WI the final push and pull. The Dynamo simply destroyed the Pakistan hope of restricting West Indies to any decent total. The late blitz lifted West Indies to competitive 166 for 6. 82 runs from the last 5 over.

Pakistan could not recover from the hammering; the last 5 over of Clypso Dance from Sammy and Bravo in their mind, the Centurion of the last match Shehzad went for the first ball duck. He walked in like a zombie and went back like zombie. Pakistan's chase got off to a horror start with pace man Krishmar Santokie hitting Ahmed Sehzad's toe with the first ball of the innings to trap the in-form batsman leg before.
CHEAP-DOMAIN-REGISTRATION-HOSTING
Pakistan are in deep trouble as Umar Akmal is gone beaten in flight by Badree with Ramdin effecting a superb leg side stumping. Pak 9-3 in 4 overs.
Hafeez perishes with Gayle pouching a skier. Pak 37-5 in 10.3 overs.
The celebrations have started and Gayle as always is the leading way. The DJ is playing the Gangnam and we see the West Indian players dancing to its tune. Gayle and Russell are seen waving the West Indian flag and are entertaining the crowd.
"What an amazing spell. Not only is Narine economical, but he has picked up three very valuable wickets. West India have played like champions and fully deserves to be in semi-final, now with insurance of confidence to chase the West Indies is the team to be watched.  Why semi, capable of getting into the final and retaining the title also. Wish them good luck.

So, the semi-finals look like this:
Thursday: Sri Lanka v West Indies.
Friday: India v South Africa. (Incidentally South African women’s team also in the semi final)

Hero Herath 3.3-2-3-5

A spot in the semi-finals of the World T20 could well be heavily weighted on the toss of a coin when Sri Lanka take on New Zealand have to fight it for one remaining spot in Group 1, South Africa already in Semi. Brendon McCullum calls correctly and puts Sri Lanka in.
Seppuku is a form of Japanese ritual suicide by disembowelment. The ceremonial disembowelment, which is usually part of a more elaborate ritual and performed in front of spectators, consists of plunging a short blade, traditionally a tantō, into the abdomen and moving the blade from left to right in a slicing motion. Seppuku is also known as hara-kiri. Both the team were trying their best to master the art of Harakiri.
Perera flicks the opening boundary off   Kyle Mills and follows that with a casual whip off the pads for six just over the fielder on the mid-wicket fence. The stadium was with lot of excitement and sound to watch the right-hander turned left-hander Perera. But on the eleventh ball of the innings the howler from Aleem Dhar send the crowd to dead silent. Aleem Dhar fallen for one of those professional appeal by wicket keeper to save the wide. Poor Perera victim of the umpire, second one in this WCT-20. 10 balls later, Dilshan gets into a pickle in what is never the most aesthetically pleasing of strokes, and he resembles a left-handed tail ender trying to hook a bouncer. The remaining 18 overs the Sri Lankans were concerned about survival rather than smashing the ball here, there and everywhere."
Malinga, the team's T20 vice-captain since October 2012, said that he was under no extra pressure leading his country for the first time even though so much was at stake. He has been forced into this position after Dinesh Chandimal was suspended for one match for his team being penalised twice for slow over rate within a 12-month period.
It's not going Sri Lanka's way, the old Chinese cut bringing Williamson four off the inside edge past the stumps. Sri Lanka are desperate for a breakthrough and Sangakkara is given a quiet word by avuncular umpire Dar regarding over-ambitious appealing.
Fourth over from Herath an unnecessary run-out and over adventurous advancement down the line by skipper McCallum reduced New Zealand to 18/2.  It's game on now.
There is a short-leg in place for the slow left-arm of Herath - and a slip, it's like a Test match in coloured clothing. A huge appeal for lbw against new man Taylor looks out and the next one is. What a start! Taylor departs for a fifth ball duck. Half-way down New Zealand is finished.
NEUSON
A great bowling effort from Rangana Herath (5/3) has taken Sri Lanka into the semis of the ICC World Twenty20 tournament. The spinner rocked New Zealand, chasing a modest 120-run total, in his 3.3 destructive overs to bowl them for 60 in 15.3 overs in Chittagong -- the Black Caps' lowest total in T20s.

Man of the Match Rangana Herath was humble in saying that he just stuck to his basics and the captain didn't want anything special from him. New Zealand skipper Brendon McCullum said that all the credit went to Sri Lanka for the way they bowled and the fact that Corey Anderson could not bat due to a dislocated finger, did not add any pressure to them whatsoever. He also said Sri Lanka were deservedly the winners. Sri Lanka now face the winners of Tuesday's game between the West Indies and Pakistan in the first semi-final on April 3.
