After Dr Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India, no other frontline and independent minded politician was allowed to occupy Rashtrapati Bhawan primarily because of this reason. Dr Rajendra Prasad’s differences with Pundit Jawaharlal Nehru on many issues especially Hindu Code Bill convinced successive Prime Ministers to ensure the election of rubber stamps to the highest office in the country.

Had Fakhruddin Ali Ahmad been a person of moral standing with spine worth the name, Indira Gandhi would not have succeeded in trampling upon our democratic structure and imposed emergency.

Yes, Giani Zail Singh was a practicing politician but he always walked the political path with crutches provided by Indira Gandhi. And who can forget his infamous statement marking the nadir of sycophancy when he said he was ready to sweep the floor if Indira Gandhi asked her to do so?

Rubber Stamp President is a standard practice of Indian Democracy, we Indian as an Idiot used to that idea. In between there are some exception like APJ Abdul Kalam and now Pranab Mukerjee.

Is this chronic disease now spread to PMO also? If you believe Sanjaya Baru, yes it has.

PM’s surrender to Sonia: Baru just proves whatwe knew: 

What is most interesting is the Pachauri's stand. He is saying the story is colourful and is for financial gains. How could he credibly say this as he was far away from what was happening at that time? Sanjay Baru was the witness of those going on not this turncoat Pachauri? How the politics corrupt a man is so well manifested by the behaviour of Pachauri.

It is most ironic that Manmohan Singh's UPA-1 was reelected to power 
as UPA-2 only on the belief that an economist PM would be better suited during 
times of economic hardship but the fact was that MMS was not even in control of either the ministry or the minister. What Sanjaya Baru's book has done is A) It has established the longstanding suspicion as a fact that Sonia Gandhi was running this country as a shadow prime minister for the last 10 years and perhaps that is why the Italian helicopter deal was done through her close confidant Ahmad Patel something which was quite apparent even to the British envoy.and B) Manmohan Singh is not only the weakest PM in the history of India as remarked by L K Advani but he is also an Indian Prime Minister who will be remembered for meekly surrendering the office of India's Prime Minister to a member of a particular family who also happens to be a foreign national and who was not even under oath of secrecy. In these ten years a farce has been played with the people of India in the name of government and administration. Those who knew about this farce looked towards NAC while most common Indians were being fooled to believe that they had a prime minister whom they can trust to carry out the delicate business of the nation. It is indeed a very sad day for this nation.

First, what was apparent could never be formally confirmed because both the PMO and Sonia Gandhi’s courtiers have denied always dual power centres – but nobody believed them. Even now, the PMO’s office has rubbished Baru’s claims, dismissing it as “colored” and a piece of “fiction.” But the fact is Baru’s book carries more credibility than the PMO’s denial. It simply means that all decisions taken by Sardar MMS were in fact taken by a woman of ill intention towards our country and that makes illegal!

Now it is up to the new Government to throw away all those decisions into the dust bag.
It amounts to treason deserve serious investigation and conviction for breaking the oath of secrecy and interfering in government functioning by unauthorized individuals. The country needs to know what all the top national secrets are criminally acquired by the vested interest and the western intelligence including the nuclear and defence secrets. A SIT has to be instituted and all the relevant individuals including the PMO, Sonia and PMO officials need to be interrogated under Oath. The new Government has to make it an example out of this by bringing them to book.

Sonia G and Baba have a lot of answering to do. They should be doing that rather than worry about Mr.Modi’s personal life. Advaniji was right in 2009 that MMS was the weakest PM but the statement lacked credibility then and he did not take the battle into the Congress camp.
